GoGlenrothes presents Glenrothes’s first projection mapping show, to celebrate 70 years. It’s free and for one night only. Saturday 13th October with the first show at 7pm and repeated every half hour until 9pm. Come and enjoy this nostalgic and modern visual spectacle on the side of Kingdom House, Glenrothes.

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Glenrothes, there will be an ecumenical service on
Sunday 28th October at 4pm in the first church in the town, St Margaret’s. Bruce Davies has
been commissioned to write a new hymn to celebrate this special occasion. This hymn will
be led by a choir made up of singers from all the churches and, if you are interested in being
part of this, we would like to invite you to two rehearsals in St Margaret’s church: –
Friday 14th September 6-7pm
Thursday 27th September 7-8pm
Please come along even if you can only attend one of the rehearsals! Carol Ann Headley of
Markinch Community choir will be leading this choir.
The year is 1978 you look up into the sky is it a bird, is it a plane no its Superman flying into Rothes Halls for your film festival.

We are excited to announce that the final film of Glenrothes Film Festival brought to you by Go Glenrothes is an outdoor screening of The Greatest Showman at 8pm on Sunday 16th September!

Fantastic news for Glenrothes showing that it is an amazing place to be.
After receiving a funding support grant from Scottish Enterprise, electric bicycle manufacturer Cyclotricity will be relocating their Headquarters from the south east of England to Glenrothes – creating 12 skilled jobs for the area in the process.
It’s great to see this funding from Scottish Enterprise deliver local employment opportunities as well as wider economic and community benefits.
Glenrothes is a great place for businesses to establish themselves and grow. This latest announcement is testament to Fife’s attractiveness to investors, in terms of availability of skills and infrastructure.
